REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

  1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the International Development Association and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of the One Health for Pandemic Prevention Food Systems Resilience and Ecosystem Health in Central Asia and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

  3. Qualification requirements for candidates are as follow:
  1. At least a Master’s degree in environment, livestock/veterinary, health or economics;
  2. At least 5 years of professional experience in similar project coordination;
  3. At least 10 years of professional experience in international development projects, financed by the donor organizations: project planning, design, follow-up, report writing, supervision and monitoring
  4. Preferred professional experience in World Bank-funded projects;
  5. Experience in the preparation and presentation of project reports in Tajik and English;
  6. Able to work independently or in a team;
  7. Strong communication skills;
  8. Self-motivated and comfortable working in rural situations with different agencies and ministries;
  9. Strong analytical problem-solving ability and creativity to develop new systems to the project;
  10. Experience in training design and delivery, project planning and people management;
  11. Fluent knowledge of Tajik, English and Russian languages;
  12. Excellent user of PC and office equipment.

The State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit now invites eligible specialists to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested specialists must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.

  1. The attention of interested candidates is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (July 2016, revised in February 2025) – Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
  2. The selection will follow Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants in accordance with Section VI, paragraphs, 7.36 and 7.37 of Procurement Regulations.
  3. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter (maximum two pages) and a detailed CV (maximum five pages) clearly outlining how they meet the required qualifications. The CV and cover letter must be submitted either by email to procurement.ohp@gmail.com, with “Project Coordinator” in the subject line, or delivered in person to the address provided below.
