AGROLOGISTIC CENTER IN THE KHATLON REGION J. BALKHI DISTRICT CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS
With the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan support, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” will build five agrologistic centers in Tajikistan as part of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”. This center will increase the supply of agricultural products, process them, prevent crop losses, store and package them for export.
The agrologistic center within the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”, will be built using a new modern design with the capacity to process, package and store over 1,200 tons of agricultural products, making life easier for farmers.
Construction of this large facility is planned on an area of two hectares, and work on the site is ongoing.
According to the design, this facility will consist of six separate refrigerated chambers with a capacity of 200 tons for agricultural products each, a large product receiving hall, a sorting, packaging and labeling area, a separate laboratory to determine production composition and other workspaces according to the global market requirements. The construction completion is scheduled for 2026.
