Working Meeting on the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” Implementation Progress

On July 10 this year, during the working visit for the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” implementation, the specialists on social and environmental issues of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” held a working meeting with the Deputy Chairman of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region Amirbekzoda Habibullo.

During the meeting, the region deputy chairman paid special attention to agreeing and approving the action plan on raising awareness of the population, project beneficiaries and stakeholders, as well as to the issues of establishing the commissions on reviewing the complaints and suggestions mechanism in the field, repair and reconstruction of facilities, providing project beneficiaries with high quality certified seeds of agricultural crops, strengthening the material and technical base of vulnerable seed farms, construction of modern and permanently operating greenhouse in Shugnan district and other relevant sector issues.

At the end of the meeting, the responsible persons expressed their views on the implementation of the orders and instructions from the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, especially the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the country esteemed Emomali Rahmon on construction of modern agricultural facilities, efficient use of lands, strengthening of material and technical base of vulnerable farms.
