  1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Procurement of three-wheel and four-wheel tractors, equipment for planting, harvesting and sprayings and test equipment for TAAS institutes and agriculture equipment for calibrating and cleaning of seeds for SUE “Vegetable seed varieties of Tajikistan” packed in 4 lots”.
  2. The State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit (AED PMU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for lots as follow:

 1 Lot 1 Procurement of 11 units of three-wheel and four-wheel tractors of 80-82 h.p. for TAAS institutes.
2 Lot 2 Procurement of equipment for planting, harvesting and sprayings for TAAS institutes.
3 Lot 3 Procurement of diesel engine test bench 1-unit, Mobile car repair shop 1 unit, screw-cutting lathe 1 unit, milling machine 1 unit.
4 Lot 4 Procurement of agriculture equipment and equipment for calibrating and cleaning of seeds for SUE “Vegetable seed varieties of Tajikistan”.
  1. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, revised September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from AED PMU and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 08:00 to 17:00 at the address given below.
  3. The bidding document in English may be received free of charge by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below.
  4. Bids must be delivered to the address by August 7, 2025 15:00. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on August 7, 2025 15:10.
  5. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of: (i) Lot #1: USD 6 200 (United States dollars six thousand and two hundred); (ii) Lot #2: USD 2 000 (United States dollars two thousand); (iii) Lot #3: USD 4 000 (United States dollars four thousand) and (iv) Lot #4: USD 11 000 (United States dollars eleven thousand).
  6. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
