PROGRESS OF APPROBATION WORKS IN KHATLON REGION

Specialists of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the framework of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” together with specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Safety Committee implement approbation in Khatlon oblast.

During the approbation, the team determines an expected harvest and takes measures to fulfill its plan.

The high-quality seeds provided to the farmers (beneficiaries) under the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” have a lot of advantages over local ones and have such quality as increased yield.

By using the high-quality seeds, farmers in the country (project beneficiaries) have proven that these seeds guarantee high yields, and as a result of following the agronomic cultivation practices, they have been able to significantly improve the quality of the obtained agricultural crops harvest.

At present, the agricultural industry specialists in Khatlon oblast are actively continuing approbation of agricultural crops, especially cereals (wheat), and determining their expected yields.

Analysis of the approbation results shows that the agricultural crops yield, especially cereals (wheat), is higher than last year, and the harvest quality has also improved.
