Holding public awareness meetings in the Sughd region

On April 23, 2025, the social and environmental issues specialists from the state institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” together with the public organization “Umedbakhsh” held awareness-raising meetings as planned in the Istaravshan and Konibodom districts of Sughd region within the framework of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture sector” project.

During the meeting, the project beneficiaries were actively involved and got acquainted with the effective activities of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture sector” project.

During this event, the sector officials noted that today, with the initiatives and continuous efforts of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, especially the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon, various sectors of the country, particularly agriculture, are developing day by day and achieving significant results. Nowadays, each of us, the citizens of the country, primarily appreciate independence, prosperity and national unity and should strive for the further development and progress of our beloved country.

Subsequently, various pressing issues in the agricultural sector were raised during the event, and measures were taken to support farmers in the future.

At the end of the event, the project beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, especially to the esteemed Leader of the Nation, and the state institution ” Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development,” for their constant support.

After the event, the commission team reviewed the current status of the information boards, the boxes for complaints and requests directly intended for the project beneficiaries in the country.
