REPAIR AND RESTORATION WORKS IN THE STATE INSTITUTION “STATE COMMISSION FOR VARIETY TESTING AND PROTECTION OF VARIETIES OF AGRICULTURE CROPS”
The State Institution “State Commission for Variety Testing and Protection of Varieties of Agriculture crops” has established effective activities of state variety testing stations in cities and districts for state testing of domestic and foreign varieties, based on the requirements of the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Protection of Plant Varieties” and “On Seed Production”.
With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the building of the State Institution “State Commission for Variety Testing and Protection of Varieties of Agricultural Crops” vulnerable to major repairs was completely renovated and put into operation by the State Institution ” Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development ” under the implementation of the “Strengthening the resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”.
As part of the first component of the project, the institution completely renovated and updated the exterior and interior of the 2,711 square meter building to a high modern standard, providing excellent working conditions for its employees.
During the refurbishment, the lobby and 48 large and small rooms such as seed laboratories, toilets, conference room and staff offices, which had become old and worn out over many years of use, were completely refurbished and refurbished to a high standard, totaling 1,403 square meters.
The 580 square meters roof was also completely renovated with a modern design, and 207 square meters of broken glass and chandeliers were completely replaced.
The construction works were completed in accordance with the World Bank environmental and social standards, with high quality and modernity, and the building is now in operation.
The management of the State Institution “State Commission for Variety Testing and Protection of Varieties of Agricultural Crop” expressed gratitude for the ongoing support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
