Repair and reconstruction work at the Sugd base of Crop Research Institute of Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences

The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan pays great attention to the development of various sectors of the country annually.

With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” in the frame of “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” a number of scientific and educational buildings of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences were renovated with modern design and put into operation this year.

Under the first component of the project, the building of the Sughd base of the Crop Research Institute of Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Shahristan district with an area of 132 square meters and the front entrance with an area of 8 square meters were completely renovated with a modern design and quality painting.

Also, the roof of the building, which had been old and wrecked for many years with an area of 140 square meters, as well as its front entrance, the staff offices, which were need in of major renovation were renovated with a modern design and also qualitatively with an area of 269 square meters and replaced doors, windows, floors, ceilings and chandeliers. The construction works took into account the nuances of the repairs work for the long-term service of this building.

Currently painting of the building’s bottom foundation is ongoing and its frontentrance will be fully tiled.
