Renovation and Reconstruction Works in Agricultural Research Institutions
With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Institution ‘Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development’ is carrying out repairs and reconstruction of several scientific and educational buildings under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences as part of the ‘Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project.’
As part of the third component of the project, high-quality painting of the entire external façade of the building of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences was carried out, covering an area of 1,979 square meters. In addition, the entrance to the building was repaired and renovated, covering an area of 44.71 square meters.
Moreover, the roof of the research institution, which had been in a worn-out condition for many years, was completely renovated, covering an area of 1,164 square meters. All the work was completed with high quality.
The conference hall of the research institution, which was in need of major repairs, was renovated over an area of 97 square meters using modern design solutions. During the renovation, doors and windows were replaced, as well as flooring, ceiling, and new chandeliers and air conditioners were installed.
The contractors and workers involved in the construction work took into account all the subtleties of the construction process and, in accordance with the ecological and social standards of the World Bank, carried out high-quality repairs to ensure the building could serve for a long time.
The management of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences expressed their gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for their ongoing support.
