Progress of construction and repair works in Sughd region

On June 12 of the current year, specialists of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” monitored repair works in the buildings of research institutions of the branch of the Institute of Crop Husbandry of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan. Repair works were carried out in the buildings of the experimental station of Panjekent city and experimental station of Shakhriston district of Sughd region. These works are carried out at the expense of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the framework of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project.

During the inspection, social specialists held explanatory talks with workers involved in the maintenance and repair of the base buildings. The main attention was paid to safety issues, compliance with construction norms, fulfillment of environmental and social standards of the World Bank, as well as qualitative and timely fulfillment of planned works.
