Progress of approbation work in the fields

Specialists of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the framework of Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project together with specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Committee on Food Security are carrying out approbation work throughout the country.

High quality seeds of elite group, provided to farmers under the project, have many advantages over local seeds and are adapted to the climatic conditions of Tajikistan.

After using these seeds, farmers (beneficiaries) became convinced that quality seeds are the key to high yields. If the agronomic rules of cultivation are followed, crop yields increase significantly. At present, specialists continue approbation of agricultural crops, especially grain (wheat), and determine their expected yields.

Analysis of approbation works shows that growth and yield of agricultural crops, especially cereals (wheat), are higher than last year.
