Provision of equipment and machinery to the State Institution “Locust Control Expedition”

With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development ” in the framework of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project on May 3 this year, with the participation of specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee on Investments and State Property Management and the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” held a ceremony of transfer of agricultural machinery and equipment to the State Institution “Locust Control Expedition”.

At the same time, within the framework of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project, to strengthen the material and technical base, fight against the spread of locust and destruction of locusts 6 tractors MTZ-82.1, 6 Toyota Hilux cars, 6 large tractor sprayers “AGROS” with the possibility of coupling with a tractor, 6 large sprayers with the possibility of mounting on vehicles, 300 units of small motorized sprayers, 300 units of small electric (battery) sprayers and 830 units of personal protective equipment for employees were allocated.

It is worth noting that the institution, as part of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project, has also implemented this initiative in 2023.
