- The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the International Development Association and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of the One Health for Pandemic Prevention Food Systems Resilience and Ecosystem Health in Central Asia and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

- Qualification requirements for candidates are as follow:
- A university degree in veterinary science, livestock production, agronomy, or other area relevant to the Terms of Reference;
- At least 3 years of working experience in livestock and/or veterinary activities in projects funded by international financial institutions (eg. the World Bank, ADB, AIIB, etc.) and/or international donors;
- Proven experience in coordination and interaction with local and national authorities and communities;
- Proficiency in Tajik and Russian. English language skills will be considered an advantage;
- Demonstrated excellent communication and computer skills.
The State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit now invites eligible specialists to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested specialists must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.
- The attention of interested candidates is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (July 2016, revised in February 2025) – Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
- The selection will follow Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants in accordance with Section VI, paragraphs, 7.36 and 7.37 of Procurement Regulations.
- Interested candidates should submit a cover letter (maximum two pages) and a detailed CV (maximum five pages) clearly outlining how they meet the required qualifications.
