PROGRESS OF REPAIR WORK AT THE VAKHSH STATE VARIETY TESTING STATION

Currently, with the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan support, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” gradually renovates and restores a number of scientific and educational buildings, laboratories of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, and other essential facilities, using modern design and commissioning them, as part of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”.

All these construction, restoration, landscaping and site improvement works are the result of national independence, peace and unity; the government constantly takes the necessary measures to develop the country various sectors.

Our next facility is the Vakhsh State Variety Testing Station. Due to its existence since Soviet times, this facility was in need of major renovation.

This year, as part of the project, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” repaired and renovated the building roof, walls, interior finishing, floors and ceilings replacing windows and doors with high-quality ones. The building entrance, small electrical appliances and chandeliers were also completely replaced; a storage facility for seeds of various agricultural crops was built next to the building.

Currently, interior renovation and restoration work is fully completed, and the exterior finishing is nearing completion.

All nuances were considered during the renovation, and the building repair with modern design will be completed shortly.
