NATIONWIDE TRAINING EVENTS UNDER THE “STRENGTHENING RESILIENCE OF THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR PROJECT”
The State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the framework of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” together with the public organizations “Amon”, “Agro-Service Consulting” and “Media Consulting” conducted trainings and consultations on nutrition issues in the country towns and districts to increase the knowledge level of farmers, leaders of dehkan farms and Ministry of Agriculture institutions employees.
Specialists from the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” together with the public organization “Agro-Service Consulting” held a seminar-training in the event hall of the Pamir Biological Institute named after Academician H. Yu. Yusufbekov of the Tajikistan National Academy of Sciences to improve the knowledge level in the field of healthy nutrition entitled “Proper nutrition is the basis of a healthy lifestyle.”
At this training event, the scientists and specialists in this field made presentations and noted: “The “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” directly cooperates with the Republic of Tajikistan Ministry of Agriculture, and its implementation contributes to ensuring food security and improving the quality of nutrition for the population, accelerating the diversification of agriculture and creating new jobs for women.”
Young scientists from the Pamir Biological Institute named after Academician H. Yu. Yusufbekov of the Tajikistan National Academy of Sciences, scientists from the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences Pamir Agricultural Scientific Center, employees from the GBAO Department of Agriculture and representatives of dehkan farms took an active part in the event and expressed gratitude to the Republic of Tajikistan Ministry of Agriculture, the management of GBAO state executive authority and the organizers of this training seminar. Similar training seminars were held in the districts of Murgab, Roshtkala, Ishkoshim and Khorog town. Besides, they are planned to be held in the GBAO districts Shugnan, Rushan, Vanj and Darvaz.
