PROGRESS OF REPAIR AND RECONSTRUCTION WORKS AT THE STATE VARIETY TESTING STATION IN VAKHSH DISTRICT
The State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” annually takes the necessary measures to implement the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” and constantly makes every effort to develop the agricultural sector.
With the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan support, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the framework of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” gradually repairs and reconstructs a number of scientific and educational buildings, laboratories of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Tajikistan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other necessary facilities, giving them a modern design and putting into operation.
All these construction, reconstruction and landscape works are the result of state independence, peace and unity, and the country Government constantly takes the necessary measures to develop various sectors.
The next facility to be completely renovated will be the state variety testing station in Vakhsh district.
Due to the need for major repairs, this facility will be qualitatively renovated and reconstructed this year by the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the project framework: roofing, wall leveling, interior painting, flooring, ceiling (roof) and window replacement.
In addition, the entrance to the building, small electrical appliances and chandeliers will be completely replaced, and a warehouse for storing seeds of various crops will be built next to the building.
Currently, the repair and restoration work inside and outside the building is in full swing; during the repair work, the workers consider the nuances to ensure the long-term service of this building and finish with high quality within the established time frame.
During the repair work, the institution engineers and specialists in social and environmental issues provided detailed information to the workers involved in the repair work on the environmental management plan, the results of the environmental impact assessment, compliance with sanitary and hygienic rules, safety precautions, compliance with the requirements and norms of the current Republic of Tajikistan legislation and the World Bank, the Grievance redress mechanism, as well as compliance with other applicable laws.
