TRAINING SEMINAR IN GORNO-BADAKHSHAN AUTONOMOUS OBLAST KHOROG TOWN WITHIN THE “SOIL DOCTOR” PROGRAM FRAMEWORK
This year, within the framework of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” together with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in the Republic of Tajikistan conducts a training seminar “Soil doctor” throughout the country.
This time the training seminar was held in the GBAO Khorog town Executive Body of State Authority hall; during this seminar the scientists and specialists in the field of soil science discussed current issues of the sector.
The seminar with the participation of specialists in agriculture, particularly soil science, lasted two days (July 15 and 16). According to the plan, scientists working in this field, using modern equipment, identified the content of various elements in the soil and the actual condition of its structure, and presented the results to the participants afterwards.
Deliverables on identifying the chemical and physical composition of soil, the status of soil structure and composition improvement covered a wide range of important topics through a series of presentations to implement strategies for training and integrated soil conservation.
The purpose of such training seminars is timely training of specialists in this field to solve existing problems, use modern technologies in the sector current activities, use the land efficiently, identify soil composition elements by modern equipment and further increase crop yields.
This event is intended for specialists in the field of soil science, who, using modern technologies, will be able to further improve their knowledge and skills, as well as to apply scientific achievements in practice.
During the workshop, participants offered effective solutions to key sector issues and explored the nuances of soil science and agrochemistry.
The end of the seminar was an interesting and memorable event for each participant. As a result of mastering the nuances of soil testing, the participants received a “Soil doctor” certificate.
