Strengthening Resilience of Agricultural Sector Project (SRASP)
Brief Description:
The SRASP is a grant prepared to support Tajikistan in establishing the foundations for a more resilient agricultural sector with respect to availability of public agricultural services, including improved seeds, seedlings, and planting material; agro-logistics services; agro-meteorological information, soil testing, locust control, and crop protection.
The project is implemented by the State Institution for “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” PMU in (SI AED PMU)
Project Objective
The development objective of the proposed project is to strengthen the foundations for a more resilient agricultural sector in Tajikistan.
The State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” (SI AED PMU) invites qualified specialists with relevant work experience to participate in the competitive selection of consultants for the establishment of the Agro-Logistics Center (1 position in Khujand city and 1 position in the Balkhi district).
Minimum qualifications and requirements
– Higher education in construction and civil engineering from a recognized institution with at least 8 years of experience, of which 4 years in the field of supervision of construction work at the foreman level.
– Experience in managing/coordinating the construction of at least 2 construction projects worth over 2-4 million US dollars;
– Participation in the implementation of at least 3 construction projects financed by IFIs or other donors;
– Excellent command of spoken and written English, Tajik and Russian; – Computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets

The selection and recruitment of the specialist will be carried out through the “Selection of Individual Consultants” method in accordance with the World Bank procedures and the World Bank Procurement Rules for IPF Borrowers “Procurement under Investment Project Financing: Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services”, dated July 2016, revised September 2023.
