PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE STARTING THE INNOVATIVE GREENHOUSE CONSTRUCTION IN DANGARA DISTRICT
On June 9 this year, the sociologist and ecologist of the “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” State Institution within the framework of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” with participation of responsible persons from the executive body of the Dangara district state authority held public hearings with residents of neighborhoods adjacent to the construction site and the construction company “Abosiyon” LLC employees, who participated in the modern greenhouse construction.
The meeting was opened by Dangara district Deputy Chairman Amonullo Habibzoda, who appreciated the Republic of Tajikistan Government, especially the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, as well as the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” and expressed gratitude for continuous support of farmers with agricultural machinery and equipment, high quality seeds, construction of modern greenhouse and other necessary facilities.
Afterwards, Rano Rakhmatova, the Institution sociologist, spoke about the continuous support of the Republic of Tajikistan Government in the agricultural sector development, providing population with new jobs, construction of modern greenhouses and their effective use, as well as about the project implementation, considering the works peculiarities for timely and qualitative completion of this facility.
During the hearings, the “Abosiyon” LLC construction company director made a detailed presentation with their work plans to implement construction of the greenhouse, which will be built according to the new modern design and with high quality.
Besides, at the stage of starting the mobilization works, the Institution specialists presented the environmental management plan considering the stakeholders’ opinions, proposals and results of environmental impact assessment according to the World Bank requirements of social and environmental standards and the detailed information on compliance with sanitary and hygienic rules, safety precautions, the Republic of Tajikistan current legislation requirements and norms, mechanism of considering the applications and proposals, as well as compliance with other applicable laws.
At the end of the public hearings, the authority’s management gave specific assignments and instructions to the officials on the upcoming plans timely implementation.
In the afternoon, the Institution sociologist and ecologist together with the commission visited the information stands and the box for complaints and suggestions in Dangara district.
