COMPLETION OF REPAIR AND RENOVATION WORKS IN THE ACADEMY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES INSTITUTE OF THE SOIL SCIENCE AND AGROCHEMISTRY 11 SOIL ANALYSIS LABORATORIES

The TAAS (Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences) Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry was founded during the Soviet period and since that time has been actively working for the agricultural sector development.

At the first stage, with the support of the Republic of Tajikistan Government and the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the framework of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”, the roof of the main building, assembly hall and facade of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry were completely repaired; this year, the entrances, corridors and 11 laboratories of soil analysis in this scientific institution were overhauled.

High-quality repair and rehabilitation work implemented by the contractor organization on the scientific institution territory has been ongoing for five months; this week, the work results were inspected by the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences President, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” management and other officials. During the inspection, useful recommendations were given to officials on quality installation and connection of modern laboratory equipment.

The specialists are making all possible efforts to install modern equipment in 11 soil analysis laboratories of the scientific institution in due time and put into operation within coming days.
