With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the country’s vulnerable farms are provided with high-quality seeds

High-quality seeds guarantee a high yield of crops, and if agricultural practices are followed, farmers can obtain the desired harvest from them and thus contribute to the country’s food security.

Every year, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” under the implementation of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” provides high-quality seeds to the vulnerable and seed farms of the country at the beginning of planting of crops.

Since the beginning of November of this year, specialists of the institution have been providing high-quality potato seeds of the Picasso, Bigroza, Krone, Arizona and Evolution varieties in the amount of 1400 tons to the vulnerable farms of the cities and districts of the republic, according to the list of the Ministry of Agriculture (project beneficiaries), which is on the stage of completion.

Farmers of the country are encouraged by the constant support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and are trying to plant their crops on time under the deadline and get a high yield from it this year.

The varieties provided to vulnerable farms are certified, high-yielding, and domestically produced.
