1. The Government of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project (SRASP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of IT equipment, office furniture and 136 sets. of field bags with instruments for the Committee of Food Security and SUE “Center for Digitalization and Professional Development of Agriculture Personnel”.
2. The State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for: Lot #1 – Procurement of IT equipment for Committee of Food Security, SUE “Center for Digitalization and Professional Development of Agriculture Personnel” and SI AED PMU staff, Lot 2 – Procurement of office furniture for Committee of Food Security and SUE “Center for Digitalization and Professional Development of Agriculture Personnel”, Lot #3 – : Procurement of 136 sets. of field bags for seed analysis for Committee of Food Security.
3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 8:00 AM to 17:00 PM at the address given below.
5. The full package of bidding document in Russian may be obtained by interested Bidders upon the submission of an official letter to the address below. The document will be sent by the AED PMU procurement email.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below by November 7, 2024 10:30 hrs. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on November 7, 2024 10:40 hrs.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bank guarantee in the amount of Lot 1 – TJS 40,000.00 (Forty thousand) Tajik somoni, Lot 2 – TJS 25,000.00 (Twenty-five thousand) Tajik somoni and Lot 3 – TJS 10,000 (Ten thousand) Tajik somoni.
