  1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project (SRASP), additional financing and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of corn, flax, pea and beet root seeds for vulnerable farmers in all the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan.
  2. The State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit (AED PMU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for lots as follow:

  1. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from AED PMU and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 08:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. at the address given below.
  3. The bidding document in English language may be obtained by interested Bidders upon the submission of an official letter to the address below.
  4. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before August 27, 2024 10:00 a.m. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on August 27, 2024, 10:10 a.m.
  5. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of: Lot #1: USD 10 600 (ten thousand and six hundred), Lot #2: USD 1 900 (one thousand and nine hundred), Lot #3: USD 9 400 (nine thousand and four hundred) and Lot #4: USD 10 200 (ten thousand and two hundred).
