Visit of the World Bank mission within the framework of the project implementation

Within the framework of the project “Enhancing Agricultural Resilience” on June 25 and 26 of the current year, the World Bank Mission team held a working meeting at the World Bank office in Dushanbe. The event was attended by the World Bank representatives, including Honorable Hazem Ibrahim Hanbal – Working Group Leader, Uzakov Bahrom – Information Technology Specialist, Mahkamov Marufqul – Chief Agriculture Specialist, and Mihini Kak – Chief Health Specialist. Also present at the event were the management and officials of the State Institution “Development of Entrepreneurship in Agriculture”, representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the local consulting company “Bars Consulting”.

At this event, the progress of implementation of research and design work of agro-logistic centers of Khatlon and Sughd regions and Dushanbe city, as well as the Center for digitalization of the agricultural sector and establishment of the National Revolving Fund for Premixes were analyzed.

At the end of the meeting, the officials gave useful recommendations for successful and effective implementation of this project.
