1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project (SRASP), additional financing and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Procurement of 150 units of low power tractors and 150 units of semi-trailers for vulnerable farmers in all the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
2. The State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit (AED PMU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for lots as follow: Lot #1: “Procurement of 150 units of low power tractor for vulnerable farmers in all the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan” and Lot #2: “Procurement of 150 units of semi-trailers for vulnerable farmers in all the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 Edition (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from AED PMU and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 08:00 to 17:00 at the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before June 10, 2024 10:00. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on June 10, 2024.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of: USD 21 150 (twenty-one thousand and one hundred fifty) for Lot #1 and USD 5 600 (five thousand and six hundred) for Lot #2 or USD 26 750 for all Lots.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
