Today farmers (beneficiaries of the project) are working hard to achieve abundant harvest, timely carry out agro-technical measures on cotton and other crop fields.

At present, the fields of grain crops (elite group wheat of varieties “Timiryazovka-150”, “Alikseich” and “Grom”) are completely cleaned of weeds and are growing well after the completion of fertilization.

Cotton seed fields have already sprouted, and farm workers collectively carried out inter-row processing and cultivation.

In addition, during the field work, specialists discussed with the heads of farms of cities and regions the issues of compliance with social and environmental standards set by the project and the World Bank, in particular, working conditions of employees, agrotechnical requirements and proper storage of crop seeds, mineral fertilizers and pesticides in warehouses.
