Discussion on construction of agro-logistics centers and repair and construction works of the digitalization center

Today, on April 2, 2024, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan held a working meeting on accelerating the construction of agro-logistic centers and repair and construction works in the building of the SUE “Center for Digitalization and Professional Development of Human Resources in Agriculture”.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan Hakimzoda Qurbon, Deputy Ministers Zevarshoi Zevarsho and Nigina Anvari, Director of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Daler Sattori and other officials.

It is worth noting that within the framework of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” it is planned to build 3 agro-logistic centers in Dushanbe city, Sughd and Khatlon regions, and within the framework of additional financing – to construct 2 additional agro-logistic centers in Kulyab district of Khatlon region and GBAO.

Land plots have already been allocated for construction of 3 agro-logistic centers. In the meantime, international and national contractors “Sofreko” and “Bars Consulting” have been identified and selected in accordance with the established procedure. According to the plan construction will start in July 2024 in Dushanbe city, Sughd and Khatlon regions.

At the meeting, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Hakimzoda Qurbon, gave instructions and advice to officials on the implementation of the provisions of the Project, timeliness of repair and construction works, allocation of financial resources and other issues.
