Development of a “Food Security Crisis Preparedness Plan”

On November 24-25 of this year, the second meeting of the technical working group for the development of the “Food Security Crisis Preparedness Plan” was held in the lobby of the Greenwood House Sanatorium.

The technical working group mobilizes representatives of a number of relevant ministries and agencies, and the republic develops a unified plan that takes into account global issues, important environmental problems and various factors of the modern world.

This plan covers problem-solving in important areas and will continuously serve to address crisis risks in the coming years.

Recognizing the country’s Food Security Crisis Preparedness Plan, it proposes timely joint action by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, humanitarian organizations and development partners to prevent and mitigate the crisis.
