  1. The Government of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project (SRASP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of tractors and tractor trailers for SI “Plant protection and Agricultural Chemicals”, SI “State Commission for Variety Testing of Agricultural Crops and Protection of Varieties” SUE “Tojikniholparvar” and seed production farms.
  2. The State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit (AED PMU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of tractors and tractor trailers and ploughs as described below:

  1. For each of Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4: The Bidder shall demonstrate that it has successfully completed at least 1 contract within the last 7 years prior to bid submission deadline, with a value not less than the bid price offered by the Bidder for this tender that have been successfully and substantially completed and that are similar in nature and complexity to the Goods and Related Services under the Contract. For a joint venture, this requirement shall be met by all members combined.
  2. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016 revised November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the AED PMU and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 0800 hrs. to 1700 hrs. at the address given below.
  4. The full package of bidding document in English may be obtained by interested Bidders upon the submission of an official letter to the address below. The document will be sent by the AED PMU procurement email.
  5. Bids must be delivered to the address below by September 26, 2023 1500 hrs. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on September 26, 2023 1510 hrs.
  6. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of: for Lot #1: US$15 400,00; Lot#2: US$ 14 000,00; Lot #3: US$ 8 000,00; Lot #4: US$ 7 200,00.
  7. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
