On June 2, 2022, at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, under the guidance of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ms. Nigina Anvari, the first meeting of the Technical Committee for the \u201cStrengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project\u201d took place. According to the project management guidelines, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture serves as the chairperson of the Technical Committee. Specifically, the Technical Committee will be responsible for the following: (i) reviewing, providing recommendations, and guidance for improving the quality of project implementation as presented by the Project Management Unit (PMU); (ii) providing technical advisory services on project implementation approaches; (iii) enhancing institutional capacity building for the PMU and relevant structures for project implementation; and (iv) reviewing and analyzing all documents prepared in accordance with project responsibilities, providing recommendations and guidance for their improvement. TKP will convene quarterly meetings dedicated to the examination of technical aspects of annual plans and monitoring reports.<\/p>\n

According to the agenda of the meeting, the director of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” D. Satori, Deputy Director, project coordinator B.Kurbanov, Chief Specialist for evaluation and monitoring of the project M. Urinbayev and Chief Accountant of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” I. Murodov reported on the progress of the\u00a0 “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”.<\/p>\n

As a result of the meeting, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Technical Committee of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”, respected Nigina Anvari noted that the problems encountered during the implementation of the project will be solved with the support of the Ministry and relevant departmental structures, taking into account the recommendations for improving the activities of the project.<\/p>\n
