\nStrengthening Resilience of Agricultural Sector\u00a0 Project (SRASP)<\/p>\n

Brief Description:<\/strong>
\nThe SRASP is a grant prepared to support Tajikistan in establishing the foundations for a more resilient agricultural sector with respect to availability of public agricultural services, including improved seeds, seedlings, and planting material; agro-logistics services; agro-meteorological information, soil testing, locust control, and crop protection.
\nThe project is implemented by the State Institution for \u201cAgriculture Entrepreneurship Development\u201d PMU in\u00a0 (SI AED PMU)<\/p>\n

Project Objective<\/strong>
\nThe development objective of the proposed project is to strengthen the foundations for a more resilient agricultural sector in Tajikistan.
\nThe State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” (SI AED PMU) invites qualified specialists with relevant work experience to participate in the competitive selection of consultants for the establishment of the Agro-Logistics Center (1 position in Khujand city and 1 position in the Balkhi district).<\/p>\n

Minimum qualifications and requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>– Higher education in construction and civil engineering from a recognized institution with at least 8 years of experience, of which 4 years in the field of supervision of construction work at the foreman level.
\n– Experience in managing\/coordinating the construction of at least 2 construction projects worth over 2-4 million US dollars;
\n– Participation in the implementation of at least 3 construction projects financed by IFIs or other donors;
\n– Excellent command of spoken and written English, Tajik and Russian; – Computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets<\/p>\n

The selection and recruitment of the specialist will be carried out through the \u201cSelection of Individual Consultants\u201d method in accordance with the World Bank procedures and the World Bank Procurement Rules for IPF Borrowers \u201cProcurement under Investment Project Financing: Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services\u201d, dated July 2016, revised September 2023.<\/p>\n
