Every independent and sovereign state is represented in the world by its coat of arms, flag and national anthem.<\/p>\n

Due to independence and the sacred benefits of peace and unity, today are the flag, coat of arms and national anthem embodying fortune and independence, unity and capital, honour and patriotism, as well as the national identity of our ancient and cultural people, reflecting the highest goals and aspirations of Tajiks in the brilliance of their colours.<\/p>\n

Today, the national flag is a sign of the people\u2019s steadfast will for the prosperity of our beautiful country and declares the independence of the Tajik state.<\/p>\n

The flag is a symbol of the honors of the Tajik people, proof of the glory, wealth and independence of the country, as well as an expression of the nation dream and the flame of faith of the noble and honorable people of the sovereign Tajikistan.<\/p>\n

Respect for the flag is respect for the nation and the state, because the flag, along with the coat of arms and the national anthem, is considered one of the state symbols and inviolability, as well as a symbol of unity and unification.<\/p>\n

The government of the country has implemented significant measures to further increase the influence and respect of the State Flag in society, especially among young people.
\nFrom 2009 to the present, 24th of November is solemnly celebrated as \u201cFlag Day\u201d as a sign of respect and loyalty to our national flag.<\/p>\n

Our national flag has a colorful thousand-year history, and Tajiks, as proud heirs of the great Aryans, are actually among the first flag-bearers on the planet.<\/p>\n

The national flag is a bright light in a clear sky, it is a sacred source of our pride, a beautiful and unique sign, famous in the world for its attractiveness and charm.<\/p>\n

The state flag of independent Tajikistan, within the framework of the policy of the state and the Government of the Tajikistan under the leadership of the founder of peace and national unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and as a sign of state independence, represents the people of Tajikistan in the international arena, in the buildings of the UN and other international and regional organizations and institutions, informs about independent Tajikistan under the flags of other countries of the world.<\/p>\n

The flag is a symbol of peaceful life, good luck, hope for a bright future and deserves the respect of every pious and conscientious citizen.<\/p>\n

The flag is strength of the nation and strength of the army. The glow of the flag is like of the bird of fortune by the fluttering of its wings.<\/p>\n

To respect and honor the flag means to honor all the values of the nation, including our civilized ancestors and national culture from the beginning of history to the present day.
\nTherefore, we must always strive to ensure that our national flag serves as a reason for every worthy person to be proud of the state and statehood, to strengthen national independence and, above all, to protect its achievements.<\/p>\n

In these happy moments, I sincerely congratulate all of you and all the noble people of the country on the Day of the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan. I wish you good luck, pride and respect, as well as further success in your future activities.<\/p>\n
