1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for the Construction of Agrologistic Centers (ALC): Lot 1. Construction of ALC in Balkhi District; Lot 2. Construction of ALC in Khujand City.
\n2. The State Institute \u201cAgriculture Entrepreneurship Development\u201d Project Management Unit now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of Agrologistics Centers (ALC): Lot 1. Construction of ALC in Balkhi District; Lot 2. Construction of ALC in Khujand City. The construction period of the facilities is 18 months (each). Defect Notification Period is 12 months. Construction works consist of excavation works, foundation, frame installation, installation of beams, construction of ladders, electrical works, water supply and sewerage, roofing, flooring, finishing works, etc. The margin of preference shall not apply.
\n3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank\u2019s \u201cProcurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing\u201d Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated July 2016 and revised in September 2023 (\u201cProcurement Regulations\u201d), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. The Single-Stage Two-Envelope procedure will be used as described in the Bidding Document and please refer to paragraphs 3.14, 3.15 for the World Bank’s conflict of interest policy.
\n4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the State Institute \u201cAgriculture Entrepreneurship Development\u201d Project Management Unit, procurement.srasp@gmail.com<\/a>, and inspect the Bidding document during office hours from 09:00 AM to 17:00 PM at the address given below.
\n5. The Bidding document in the English language will be obtained free of charge by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address given below under bullet 9. The Bidding document will also be posted on the SRASP website at www.aedpmu.tj.
\n6. Bids must be delivered to the address below by 26 November, 2024, 15:00 hrs Dushanbe time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked \u201cORIGINAL BID\u201d, and the inner envelopes marked \u201cTECHNICAL PART\u201d will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders\u2019 designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below on 26 November, 2024, 15:00 hrs. Dushanbe time. All envelopes marked \u201cFINANCIAL PART\u201d shall remain unopened and will be held in the safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening.
