Repair and reconstruction work at the Sorting Station of the SI “State Commission for testing of types of agricultural crops” in the Penjikent city

The «Sorting Station» of the State Institution “State Commission for testing of types of agricultural crops” in Penjikent city is engaged in fruitful activities and contributes to the development of the seed industry of the country.

With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” in the frame of “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” warehouse of the «Sorting Station» of the State Institution “State Commission for testing of types of agricultural crops” in Penjikent city, which requested complete repairs was renovated and commissioned.

Under the first component of the project, a warehouse intended for storing seeds of different crops was completely renovated with an area of 500 square meters of high and modern quality that ensured good working conditions for the station’s staff.

The roof of the warehouse, which had been old and wrecked for many years with an area of 177 square meters, was completely renovated with high quality, and the warehouse gates have been replaced.

Also inside the warehouse, walls 1.2 meters high were raised and a small gate was installed to prevent the mixing of seeds from different crops.
