Monitoring of field work in Sughd region

Farmers in Sughd region (project beneficiaries) were able to effectively use this year’s favorable weather and complete sowing of grain crops, especially wheat, by obtaining quality seeds.

This year, within the framework of the project “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” seed farms of the region received 137 tons of elite seeds of the Alekseich variety and 150 tons of the Timiryazevka variety and sowed them on an area of 621 hectares.

Also, under the implementation of the project 1110 vulnerable farms of the region received 265 tons of wheat of Grom variety of the first reproduction and completed planting within a certain period of time.

At present, crop growth in the fields is good and farmers are busy cleaning the canals around the fields, in accordance with the agro-technique of cultivation.
