Monitoring of crop growth in the RRS

On July 3, 2024, specialists of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the framework of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project assessed the progress of field work and the current state of crops of potatoes, onions, tomatoes and other crops on farms and seed farms of Faizabad and Nurobod district.

As in previous years, farmers who received elite seeds at the expense of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the framework of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project, used quality seeds and due to favorable weather completed planting of crops on time and in accordance with agrotechnical requirements. Currently, the harvesting of cereals (wheat) is close to completion. Treatment of inter-row and protective furrows against pests, feeding, fertilizing, loosening and weeding of other field crops are carried out in accordance with agrotechnical norms. Farmers are satisfied with good crop growth and are actively engaged in field work.

Specialists of the institution visited seed farms of Tukhmparvari State Unitary Enterprise named after A. Nazirov, farm “Zamira” of Faizabad district, farm “Nuri Nurobod”, farm “Hodjiabdulbako” of Nurobad district and studied cultivation and growth of agricultural crops, especially seed potatoes of different varieties and received high marks. Farmers were also provided with valuable scientific recommendations on increasing yields of all crops.
