Fieldwork over the country

Quality seeds and agricultural practices are followed is the key to high yield of agricultural crops, and every farmer can, as a result of timely seasonal field work, grow a high yield from each plot of land and contribute to the food security of the country.

Specialists of the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” in the frame of “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” in the course of monitoring of field works visited Trade Cooperative “Avesta” of Kubodiyon district, Production Cooperative “Bakhor” of Kushoniyon district, farm enterprise “Farrukh” of Dusti district of Khatlon region, farm enterprise “Urunhujaev” of B. Gafurov district, “Islomsarkor” of Spitamen district, “Yakatut” of J. Rasulov district, “Purdil”, “Shohjakhon” of Zafarabad district and “Ravshanbek” of Istaravshan city of Sughd region and reviewed the status of growth of crops, especially wheat, and field work.

Last year, farmers of the country (project beneficiaries) received high quality seeds, were able to effectively used favorable weather conditions of the current year and complete timely sowing of grain crops, especially wheat.

By this time, the fields had been properly weed free and nutrient rich fertilizers at different rates were apply in time for sowing wheat.

At present, the growing condition of cereal crops in the fields is good, and farmers following the cultivation technique have cleared the canals around the fields, in this favorable weather, everyone is busy with agricultural works.

Today, the farmers of the country satisfied the continuous support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in providing farmers with high quality crop seeds, modern agricultural machinery and equipment, aim to maximize the efficient use of our country’s fertile land, get the desired yield from them and contribute to providing the country’s markets with its own products.
