Repair and reconstruction work at the Testing Station of the Agricultural Institute of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the Penjikent city

With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” in the frame of “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” periodically repairs buildings of scientific institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Under the first component of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” the staff offices and the test station warehouse of the Agricultural Institute of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Penjikent city with an area of 589 square meters and their facade with an area of 467 square meters were completely painted, repaired and updated.

Also, completely renovated the station building roof and its storage area, which had been old and wrecked for many years, with an area of 690 square meters, as well as its front entrance and awning with an area of 50 square meters.

In general, the conference room, staff offices, and the station’s warehouse, which were in need of major renovation, with an area of 1796 square meters were renovated and put into operation with a modern design by replacing doors and windows, floors, ceilings (roof) and chandeliers.

The construction works were carried out in accordance with the requirements of social and environmental standards of the World Bank with high and modern quality, and the building was put into operation.

It is worth mentioning that the management test station of the Agricultural Institute of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Penjikent city was satisfied with the continuous support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and thanked for providing good working conditions for staff.
