Celebration of State Language Day at the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development”
On October 4, 2024, a solemn gathering was held in the central hall of the institution to celebrate State Language Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was opened by representatives of the institution’s leadership, who warmly congratulated all attendees on State Language Day. In their speeches, they highlighted the achievements of independent Tajikistan and the importance of preserving its cultural values. The representatives remarked:
“We are all well aware from the history of civilization of the great efforts and sacrifices made by our enlightened ancestors to preserve our nation and its cultural values, particularly to ensure that our beautiful and noble Tajik language would continue to thrive and endure.
The celebration of Language Day is one of the significant traditions of independent Tajikistan, which, along with other ancient national customs, is observed annually. Our national independence has not only safeguarded the purity of the Tajik language but also provided the conditions for its development, refinement, and elevation of its status.
It is especially important to acknowledge the exceptional contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, the esteemed President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, in preserving the state language in its original purity. In his meetings and assemblies, the Head of State consistently speaks with great care and responsibility about the importance of maintaining the purity of the language and the high standards of speech culture, offering valuable guidance and recommendations”.
Following this, several employees of the institution gave speeches on topics such as “Language — The Foundation of a Nation” and “Preserving the Purity and Nobility of the Tajik Language”.
A documentary film was also presented, narrating the history of the Tajik language’s development and preservation through challenging periods.
At the close of the event, all employees and guests were once again congratulated on this important occasion. They were wished good health, success, and prosperity. It was emphasized that each of us must carefully protect our national treasure — our native language, which is a symbol of our history, a source of pride, and the foundation of our nation’s unity. We must safeguard it with honor, take pride in this heritage, and remain vigilant guardians of our great language — the language of the ancient civilization of Tajikistan.
