Provision of modern agricultural machinery and equipment to vulnerable farms

The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is always striving for the development of the agricultural sector, constantly supports farmers and takes active measures to provide the population with agricultural products.

This year, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” within the framework of Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project carried out the 4th stage of distribution of agricultural machinery and equipment (50 units of mini tractors, 550 units of walk-behind tractors and small auxiliary equipment, 45 units of grain seeders, 50 units of small trailers, 50 units of double-body plows, 45 units of chisel cultivators, 45 units of milling cutters, 45 units of potato plows, 45 units of potato planters, 45 units of equipment for mounted sprayers and 45 units of mounted fertilizer spreaders) to vulnerable farms in Sughd and Khatlon regions, GBAO and RRS.

The objective of disseminating such modern machinery is to facilitate the work of farmers, improve access to production infrastructure, strengthen the material and technical base of farms, increase crop productivity and contribute to the development of the agricultural sector.
