When it comes to youth, the words of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon immediately come to mind: “Youth, as the successor of our highest goals, today with a strong will strive for the development and progress of our dear Tajikistan and have already reached unique achievements in many areas.”

Our country is one of the youngest countries in the world in terms of population, the majority of our population is made up of young people (70% of the population is under 30 years of age), and they are a big driving force for the country’s development.

The effective implementation of state youth policy has been the basis of the activities of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan since the first days of independence. Respected Head of State Emomali Rahmon has repeatedly said in his speeches: “We must provide all conditions for youth, who are the future of the nation, and educate them in the spirit of patriotism, self-awareness and national pride.”

This is true because the future of the state and nation is in the hands of the youth. Young people represent the state and the nation. Young people are the future builders of society today and tomorrow; it is impossible to imagine a country without educated, conscious and talented youth.

Thanks to their knowledge, abilities and strengths, young people participate in various regional and international competitions and take pride of place and receive high awards, gain fame, increase the authority and influence of our beloved Motherland in the international arena.

The respected Leader of the Nation pays special attention to supporting young people and creating new jobs for them based on the use of information and communication technologies and knowledge of foreign languages. He actively supports youth initiatives for the development of our dear Motherland and strives to create favorable working conditions for young professionals. The leader has full confidence in the potential and professional skills of young people.

Today, the youth of our country are actively involved in various spheres of society, including politics, economics, social work, culture, healthcare, industry and agriculture. She makes a significant contribution to the development and progress of our native Tajikistan.

On these joyful days, dear colleagues, let me sincerely congratulate all the youth of our dear country on Youth Day, which is celebrated on May 23. On your behalf, I wish everyone good health, prosperity, happiness and success, and eternal peace to our independent Tajikistan.
