As part of the preparations for the implementation of additional financing for the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project” a series of public consultations were conducted in accordance with the work plan. The consultations involved representatives from the State Unitary Enterprise “Khurokvori”, the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Service of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Tajik Agricultural Research and Production Center, and the relevant departments of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as other stakeholders. The consultations took place at the Ministry of Agriculture and the Department of Agriculture of the Khatlon Region.

The social and environmental experts from the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” presented a report on the updated documents related to the social and environmental aspects of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project”

It is worth noting that the additional financing aims to strengthen the crisis resilience of the agricultural sector and ensure food security in Tajikistan.
